Q. Does the library have mainstream literature, or is it all academic?

Yes, we do! 

Literature is found in the P section. Most fiction in English is found in the PR-PS section. Check out this clickable list from the Library of Congress (the classification system we use) for a breakdown of this section of the library.

You can also search by author or title in the catalogue:

• Click on Advanced search under the search box on the main library page.
• If you are looking for something specific, change 'Any field' to Title or Author.
• Change 'Resource type' to 'Books'.
• Type in your search and hit enter.
