Q. Where do I return my books?

Please return material to our 24-hour exterior book drop, located outside the Atrium on the Robie Street side at the Cafe entrance, or in the slot at the right end of the Circulation desk in the library.

Novanet materials, BARA (Borrow Anywhere, Return Anywhere) materials borrowed from public libraries should be returned at our exterior book drop or in the slot at the right end of the Circulation desk in the library.

Interlibrary Loans borrowed from outside the Novanet (Nova Scotia) system should be returned to the Circulation desk, or in the slot at the right end of the Circulation desk in the Library.

Note that you can return books at any public, university or college library in the province. If you live closer to any of these other libraries, you can return SMU items there. A list of participating libraries is available here.
