It depends what you're logging in to; your library account, your computer account or Banner.
To log in to your library account (renew books, place holds, order books, etc.), you have two options:
- ​Use your SMU email and its password OR
- Use your S Number and its password.
If you have any issues, or would like to change or reset your password, please email access@smu.ca.
To log in to your computer account (access library databases off campus, Brightspace, printing etc.)
- Use your S number and password. Click here to activate your account (or reactivate, if you forgot your password). If you have any issues, contact the EIT help desk at 902-496-8111 or email helpdesk@smu.ca.
To log in to Banner (register for classes, pay tuition, etc.), use your A number and password. Click here for information. If you have any issues, contact the EIT help desk at 902-496-8111 or email helpdesk@smu.ca, or the Service Centre at 902-420-5582 or email service.centre@smu.ca.
