Q. Can I use the library's online resources from home?

SMU students, faculty and staff can access the library catalogue and the majority of our databases off campus.

To log in to your library account, (in order to renew books, place holds, order books, etc.), the username is your SMU email, and password. If you have any issues, stop by or contact the Circulation desk by email access@smu.ca.

If you find articles or e-books, while searching from the library home page, and you're asked for login information, please use your @smu.ca email and password. (Please refer login issues to EIT).

To access a particular database, click on Databases A-Z on the library's homepage. Choose a database, and use your @smu.ca email and password to login (please refer login issues to EIT).
