Q. I'm a visiting scholar. Can I use the databases from home?

With the permission of the Chair or Dean of the department, visiting scholars can get a computer account to access SMU databases off campus. Your account will be active for the period of time you are visiting SMU.

If you are not directly affiliated with a department at SMU, you cannot access SMU resources off campus.

On campus, there are two options available to use our databases:

• You can use on of our five guest computers to access our resources.
• You can set up an Eduroam account at your home institution to use the campus wi-fi.
