The Quick or Basic Research Help appointment is for someone who needs help learning how to navigate the Library website, figuring out the right database/s to use, learn how to search for articles/books, to get help with citations, and to learn how to start the research process.

The In-depth Research Help appointment is for someone who knows the basics of navigating the Library website and the databases available, but is having trouble finding sources, isn't sure whether there is enough information available about their topic, needs specialized help with things like Statistics, Business databases, or Science.
