eduroam (education roaming) is a wireless service that allows students, staff, and faculty to use their own home institution’s wireless credentials to access wireless network services when visiting any other eduroam affiliated institution.

You must set up eduroam at your home institution before using at other available locations. Once it is set up and working, it will work at any other eduroam member institution in the world.

  1. Apparently, when you sign in, it helps to add (for example) @dal.ca at the end of your usual sign-in information. I'm not sure if this transfers across all institutions but it was crucial info for a dal user just now.
